evaluation

Idea

For my ideas for this project I didn’t have many other ideas all I had was I was going to produce something war related regardless but I think that I could have had another Idea such as I could have done something ground based which II did think about and I have done something close to that but I would decide to do something more creative and show two different perspectives such as I have both above and underground during an Arial raid during the blitz because I think that that is more interesting compared to a tank battle but the other Idea is still related because I would have done a massive violent battle on the ground like maybe something like a world war one going over the top trench style battle which could have been interesting but I decided to do something more interesting because I think a sky and bunker battle is more interesting and I have never really seen it done before and I think due to what I have been looking at and compared to my research I could not find something sky or blitz related so I decide to do that.

And I think that mine worked it was interesting and exciting and I think that I could done a few things differently but I liked what I ended up with and how it turned out and because of how it turned out and what I did I think that I worked well . It also helped in the fact that I had an interest in the subject and that I could enjoy and relate to the subject in hand and have an engaging and intense radio drama and if I had another chance I think that I could have done and would have done the world war 1 trench and over the top battle because I think that it could have been interesting and exiting if I done it right but I am happy with what I have produced and I think that I did it well with the things that I have got.

Research

I looked at the codes and conventions of radio and drama and it helped me realize what I could have done and what I needed to have done and I think it helped me realize what sounds I need what I am going to need to make it and what my end product should have looked at and what I would need to make it there and  how to produce it and my research helped me learnt these things making it easier and a lot more helpful to have when coming to production such as I had  I looked at other programs film and series to get the dialog in radio drama when I was writing my script make everything accurate and interesting in my radio drama and that all payed off all of the research helped me realise what I am going to need to have and how to get and make them making my life easier when it comes to production. Because I looked at other war program for the language and dialog to make it historically accurate and I think that it worker and It sounded how I wanted to do also I looked at other programs and films to get a list of films and gather a list of sounds that I would need these include all time correct ones  as well as having ones that would have taken place in a battle and I made a list of sounds of hose of those all of which I found looking through my research and I saw that the same ones kept coming up and the main thing that I looked at was I watched the doctor who episode victory of the darleks which includes  in the opening scene an Arial bombing raid from the Germans as well as later on in the episode there are a lot of space combat scenes which is where I gather and found all of the sounds that I am going to need.

Planning

My production documents and all of my planning documents were very important and helped me plan out what I would need making my life simple and a lot easier when coming to production also I had a good script which helped me be able to direct my actor and get the right tone and reactions that I desired from my actors and I had a good sound list making it easier to find collect and create my own which made that task more simpler to find and produce the sounds because I had a place for them to belong and I knew where they should go and how to make them and where belong that to my script and my audio visual and sound plan meaning I can put them there and them in know what else to di thanks to the production documents also helping me learn how to do somethings as well as helping me know where and when to do things making simpler and easier on me

And I will say that as the same with the other project I think that I could have done a lot better with my time management because for me my time management was awful and I think that I could have done a lot better with these things making it simpler which it could have been it I did not waste time and also have a lot longer to work on things rather than have to rush it but I think that it is something that could have been done better and something to learn for the future I should have kept going instead of leaving it

Production

I am very happy with my overall project and the outcome of it because I have done everything that I would have done and I get the desired outcome from this because it does what I want it to do because it exits and make you feel sad and upset at the outcome and ending and if I had to change I think that It could be better and I think that I could have made more of my own sounds but because of the time limit I did not end up doing that but I was happy with what I produced and I did what I could and I think that it worked and luckily I did not come out with any issues and problems and with a piece that I was happy to produce and in my peer feedback it all seemed to be good and I came out with a product that did what i could do with the time .
